2010-2011 school year: day sixty seven

Although I didn’t do a comic about them, I should also mention that Anna has also donated a metric ton of cool books for my classroom.

I’ve never been a big Wolverine fan, so I haven’t concentrated all that hard on getting trades or books featuring the character. That was definitely my mistake because all my lower level readers went BANANAS over these issues. It also helped that a nice chunk of the ones Delano donated were written by Jason Aaron and man… that guy’s a good writer! I’ve been reading his DC/Vertigo series Scalped in trades but I never sampled his superhero genre work. Solid, solid stuff.

  1. i’m a big fan of jason aaron too. he’s quickly becoming one of those writers that i’ll check out anything he writes.

      I’m looking forward to snagging a collection/trade of that Astonishing Wolverine/Spider-Man book he’s currently writing. That looks like it’d be catnip for my superhero-loving students.
