2011-2012 school year: what’s good

I discovered the library’s cache of yearbooks sometime last year and have been searching for a reason to use them… although before we go on, I want to point out a mistake I made here. I actually found the 1924 yearbook for our school. Check it out:

One of the interesting things about the ’24 yearbook is that all the bios for the graduating seniors are gag-filled, to the point where you could never get away with in 2012. Case in point-

I love the “…but seriously.” It reminds me of a Rodney Dangerfield bit.  Or look at this one:

…besides the young lady above here who looks like Harry Potter, we loved Mildred “Swag” Swigart. Swag is the slang term du jour right now.
