Teacher Comics: Have you tried turning it off and on again?


The title of this post is a reference to The IT Crowd; that frustration is not exactly what I’m dealing with on a regular basis… namely because for many of my students this is the first time they’ve had a laptop in front of them… but yeah, it’s kind of exhausting.

  1. Hahaha, I’m surprised you didn’t write it on the board after being asked a second time.

      You’re right! I thought about including the instructions on the chalkboard in the background but my generally amateurish layouts prevented it. You’re on the ball though, I have all this information posted in my room on the chalkboard at ALL times.

    Not the same, but for first graders I hand them the cards with ID colored in blue and the year in red. Blue goes up, red goes down 😉.

  4. That is a daily source of frustration. If only people listened better first….
