The annoying this is we DID plan for all of the inevitable non-educational disruptions that come with the beginning of any new school year… but we never planned for so many that would go on for SO long.

I love comics! School nowadays focus too much on standardized testing and not enough on actually teaching students something valuable.
Our school has also had PBL issues, especially in terms of traditional scheduling, i.e. Picture Days, pep rally days, fire drills, etc.
Oh yeah, I forgot the pep rally. Add that one onto the list! Also we had some PD days where the kids don’t come in… we fit classes in there somewhere.
