I can’t draw on the boards during testing days, so three this week from one of my favorite TV shows, The Venture Brothers. Funny, I always forget it’s a favorite because Adult Swim puts out like, six episodes every two years… but it’s for sure one of the best shows ever.
I was sort of all over the map with where I chose to draw the characters. I drew Henchman 21 in his early season outfit rather than his current badass getup. I drew Doc Venture in his blue speed suit rather than his customary pinkish duds. I drew Brock in his civilian look rather than his current O.S.I. uniform. I guess these are my preferences?

Another abbreviated week thanks to professional development, I decided to draw myself with some Japanese animation characters in the mix.
I realize Avatar: The Last Airbender is an American-made cartoon with inspirations from anime, but I couldn’t resist drawing Aang because I really dug that show when it was first on TV.

Weird week back with lots of snow days and delays. I decided to hit these characters due to the extreme cold going on outside my classroom. After the fact, I found out there’s quite a fandom pairing these two romantically! I have to admit, it makes sense…
Chalkboard drawings: The “Here comics Santa Claus” edition
Posted in chalkboard drawings with tags chalkboard drawings, santa claus on December 21, 2014 by Christopher PearceThe last chalkboard drawing of 2014! I don’t draw on the board during midterm exam week.
This post coincides with my holiday hiatus, during which I will be enjoying two weeks off from school with my kith and kin. I’ll also be working on comics for the second semester. I’ll likely pop on here now and then, but no new teaching comics until 2015.
Speaking of the new year, I’m hoping to have a small print edition of all the comics from the last four months ready for sale sometime in the first week of 2015. All of you folks who have said you’d like to own a print version of the comics over the years better get ready!

Only one this week (all the rest got lost on my cellphone somehow). This is the drawing in the background of the piece Local12 did on me this past week.
