People who ignore poverty as the most major factor in student success probably aren’t thinking about students in my district who don’t have warm parkas when the temperature dips below freezing.

Although sketched out weeks ago, this strip is unexpectedly relevant in light of the tremendous amounts of snow and ice most of the country has been hit with this week. We had a snow day on Tuesday and a two hour delay on Wednesday!
