Elliot was fairly obsessed with Big Anthony and his troubles with Strega Nona’s magic pasta pot last summer. I suppose that respect has grown into an admiration for her fashion sense.

Elliot and his aunt got really into reading Strega Nona by Tomie dePaola this past week.
If you’ve never read Strega Nona, it’s about a witch who has a magical pot that cooks all the pasta she wants… and the lovable oaf who tries to use the pot to his own designs. “Don’t touch my pot!” is probably something that Strega Nona says to Big Anthony.
